Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic Sales Head to lead business development and drive revenue growth across government consultancy (tendering, empanelments, partnerships, and direct government projects) and private consultancy (enterprise solutions, cost optimization, compliance, and cloud services). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in consultative selling, government liaisons, and enterprise client acquisition. Key Responsibilities Government Consultancy (50%) Proactively identify and pursue government opportunities, ensuring BLG’s solutions are positioned where they can create the most impact. Engage with departments and ministries to understand their technology needs and present BLG’s offerings as value-driven solutions. Build strong relationships with PSUs, empanelment agencies, and state/central government departments. Lead pre-bid meetings, technical presentations, and proposal discussions. Develop strategic consortiums/partnerships to expand BLG’s footprint. Private Consultancy (50%) Acquire new projects from enterprises that BLG can deliver on demand. Sell BLG’s in-house products and platforms to private companies. Build consultative sales pipelines, negotiate contracts, and close enterprise deals. Develop strategic partnerships with private sector companies where BLG can be their ongoing technology partner. Leadership & Strategy Define and execute the sales strategy for both government and private consultancy verticals. Build and mentor a sales & business development team. Collaborate with the delivery and technical teams to ensure proposals match client needs. Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities. Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Required Qualifications 10–15 years of experience in sales/business development, with at least 5 years in government IT/consultancy. Proven track record in winning government tenders, building consortiums, and acquiring enterprise clients. Strong network with government officials, PSUs, and enterprise CXOs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel extensively for client and government engagements. Preferred Qualifications MBA or equivalent in Sales/Marketing/Business Strategy. Experience in GovTech, IT consulting, or large-scale system integrators.
