Blessed Marine Automation, a leading provider of marine electrical, automation, calibration, and navigation solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical/Automation Engineer to join its Kochi team. The role involves working on shipboard electrical systems, automation controls, instrumentation, and navigation equipment, with responsibilities spanning installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Location Kochi, Kerala Key Responsibilities · Diagnose and repair various electrical, pneumatic and automation systems. · Install new electrical and automation equipment on vessels. · Perform commissioning of the installed systems. · Provide immediate solutions to restore functionality during equipment failure or emergencies. · Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and compliance records. · Communicate and coordinate with clients for any job conducted. Role requirements: · Degree/ Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or any relevant field. · 2+ years of experience in marine industry. · Knowledge in interpreting engineering drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID, general arrangement etc. · Experience in troubleshooting, configuring, and programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems is an advantage. · Knowledge of integrating field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature) with PLC/ SCADA systems. · Ability to perform loop checks, signal verification, and calibration. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional environment. · Should be willing to travel on short notices.
