Blending & Tank Farm Production Specialist

Role Overview: As a Consultant in Blending & Tank farm, your main responsibility will be producing various product blends as per specifications provided by the Commercial team. You are expected to meticulously follow blend sheets, batch records, and outlined procedures to ensure accurate production of product blends and lot combinations. It is crucial to accurately pull specified streams and lots, document all actions, oils, lots, locations, and weights of oil used in production. Utilizing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to prevent contamination and enhance production efficiency is a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with other blending specialists and manufacturing personnel is essential to successfully complete blends. Any discrepancies or inaccuracies must be reported promptly to the production manager or quality assurance. Proper labeling and handling of all blends and production oils are also part of your responsibilities, along with performing other functions assigned by the Production Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Produce various product blends according to specifications provided by the Commercial team - Follow blend sheets, batch records, and outlined procedures meticulously - Pull specified streams and lots accurately and document all actions, oils, lots, locations, and weights of oil used in production - Utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to prevent contamination and enhance production efficiency - Collaborate with other blending specialists and manufacturing personnel - Report any discrepancies or inaccuracies to the production manager or quality assurance promptly - Properly label and handle all blends and production oils - Perform other functions assigned by the Production Manager Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred - 3-8 years of experience in Blending and Tank Farm Management - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy - Refining and Formulation experience is advantageous - Effective communication skills with managers and peers are essential for this role.,
