Role & responsibilities Material Procurement & Raw Material Planning : Manage procurement and planning of raw materials from suppliers based on tractor production planning (via BPR software), with a focus on special items such as gears, shafts, and hydraulic parts (L.M.S). Inventory Control : Monitor and control ACG-RM store inventory in line with monthly management targets. Purchase Order Management : Release monthly requirements (purchase orders) as per tractor MIS. Supplier Coordination & Planning : Conduct advance planning with suppliers to ensure material availability in alignment with the gear shop machine loading plan and ensure Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD). Supplier Quality Management : Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues and support the quality team in obtaining CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) from suppliers. Supplier Process Audits : Assist the quality team in conducting periodic process audits at supplier locations. Material Balancing & Engineering Changes : Manage material balancing for any ECN/ERN (Engineering Change Notes/Requests) received from the ERN cell. Supplier Costing Coordination : Liaise with the costing team to address supplier-related issues concerning material availability from steel mills. PO Scheduling Compliance : Ensure adherence to purchase order scheduling in line with the supplier Schedule of Business (SOB). New Project Development Support : Assist the Vendor Development (V.D) team in new project developments at suppliers (e.g., blanks). ERP & Software Proficiency : Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP. Preferred candidate profile Qualification : Diploma or B.Tech (Mecahanical Engineering) Ideal candidate should have experience on Gear & Shaft commodity and Hydraulic Parts . Relevant experience aligned with the Job Description.
