Type of Institute: AICTE approved University/Institute. Key Responsibilities: Core ME Functions: Implement Lean Manufacturing processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing units. Develop and enhance vendor performance and relationships. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Provide high-quality customer service and support. Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed records of the progress of all initiatives. Regularly report the status of implementation to the relevant vertical. Interface Needs of Technology and QA: Verify the adequacy and completeness of inputs from engineering/technology for manufacturing, QA, and logistics. Ensure the correct version of technical documents (BOM, technical specifications, part drawings, test procedures, and QAP) is distributed at the plant level. Support new product development (NPD) activities, prototype developments, and other initiatives as advised by the Vertical ME Head. Cost Reduction: Implement lean, kaizen, and six sigma methodologies in manufacturing units. Validate and implement value engineering proposals from the plant or vertical. Maintenance Monitoring: Monitor the function and maintenance of all molds, equipment, and tools within the Regional Business Unit (RBU).

As a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, you will need to have a CGPA of over 8.0. Additionally, you should have at least 6 years of experience in mechanical integrity evaluation, aerodynamics analysis, and manufacturing related to steam turbine blade path calculations, with a specific focus on blading engineering. You must also possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in turbomachinery, specializing in thermal and aerodynamic analysis, heat and mass balance, and performance and efficiency analysis as a thermodynamics engineer. An essential requirement is having 1 year of experience as a technical project lead overseeing project execution, planning management, providing technical guidance, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with quality and budget requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting aerodynamic analysis and performance evaluations of steam turbines according to Siemens design guidelines. You will be accountable for aerodynamic design, thrust balancing in steam turbines, and efficiency assessments for various applications. Collaborating closely with engineering teams globally to meet customer requirements regarding functionality, performance, and timelines will be crucial. Providing blading engineering expertise for R&D and tender/proposal teams, as well as supporting manufacturing and field operations, will also be part of your role. You will review drawings, sketches, layouts, and bills of materials to ensure compliance with design specifications and lead design reviews with global teams, interfacing with customers to represent Siemens effectively. Your role will involve preparing technical reports, providing guidance to junior team members, and driving continuous improvement in processes and procedures. Traveling to customer sites as needed is essential for this position. Job Responsibility: 1. Responsible for Supplier Quality Control of Blade Manufacturing and Blades Final inspection aligned QAP/ITP/Customer requirements 2. Identify and resolve Blades fields failures causes and action to overcome during Manufacturing. 3. Understating Rotor Blade flaw detection and repair process pre molding, molding, demolding to final product finishing 4. Blades Site or field QC and inspection support experience will add advantages. 5. Blade RM understating and related inspection also will advantage. 6. Wind Rotor Blade Manufacturing in-process and Finish Blade Quality Inspection and Product/Process Audit experience is added advantage 7. Work at Blade Manufacturing Site/Factory as Resident Quality Management and Supervise to ensure from R2P Quality Control (Raw material to final Product) 8. Manage Blade QC to meet Envision s requirements. 9. Participate Product, Process, System Audit at supplier side according to yearly plan and during the New Supplier Introduction 10. Report daily and weekly basis the Work Progress and Main Defects/Issues to Line Supervisor and Category DQE Lead. Job Requirement with Education & Experience: 1. Diploma or Degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 2. Industry work experience in Wind Blade manufacturing is preferred 3. 5-7years experience with Supplier Quality and Development, Supplier Continuous Improvement or Quality Assurance with 1-to-2-year Wind Sector experience of handling above components especially Blade, GFRP and Internal parts preferred 4. Expertise and Subject Matter Knowledge on Blade IQC, IPQ & FGQ Defects is MUST 5. QC support in NDT Testing work experience will add an advantage 6. Result orientation with a strong self-drive mindset 7. Attitude to learn and adopt and work new skills and new challenges. 8. Multi-culture work approach in environment like Asia and Europe preferred.
