Role & responsibilities We are looking for a merchandiser who is well-versed in garment manufacturing, from Product Development to the Production stage of Women's and Kid's wear. Export house experience is compulsory, along with excellent written & oral communication. In-depth knowledge of various fabrics especially woven and practically worked on Design, Product Costing, TNA, Fabric, Merchandising Processes, and factory Coordination. To be responsible for communication with the Buyer, taking approvals from the buyer (gpt, fpt, print, embroidery, trims, lab dip etc). Coordinate with the Fabric and Trims department. Cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines. Preferred candidate profile Must have handled Europe, the U.K., & USA Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or related field preferred. Proven experience in garment merchandising, production management, or related roles within the fashion industry. Strong understanding of garment production processes, materials, and quality standards. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
