Associate KPO at Gandhidham Gujrat Qualification: - Graduate Experience: - 1-2 Years Skills: - Good in Excel, Import export documentation , Knowledge of Moowr, EOU, FTP The Import-Export Documentation Executive is responsible for managing all the documentation processes related to the import and export of goods. This role ensures timely preparation, verification, and coordination of shipment documents A Compliance Executive under MOOWR is responsible for ensuring that all operations within a licensed warehouse comply with the provisions of the MOOWR, 2019, and associated customs and GST regulations . The individual acts as a liaison between the organization and regulatory authorities, managing documentation, reporting, audits, and overall compliance processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations under the MOOWR, 2019.Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and documentation related to warehouse licensing, import/export records, and bond obligations. Coordinate with the customs authorities for periodic audits and inspections. Ensure timely renewal of MOOWR licenses and other statutory registrations. 2. Bond Management & Record-Keeping Oversee the execution and monitoring of the customs bond (Triple Duty Bond).Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, processed, and removed under the MOOWR scheme. Track duty foregone and ensure accountability for inputs and capital goods. 3. GST and Customs Compliance Ensure proper classification, valuation, and reporting of goods under GST and customs regulations. Work with finance and tax teams to prepare and file required returns (e.g., monthly returns under the MOOWR scheme).Assist in reconciliation of duty-free procurements and inventory utilization. 4. Internal Audits and Coordination Conduct periodic internal checks to verify compliance status.Support statutory and regulatory audits, including customs, GST, and internal audits. Liaise with legal advisors and consultants to manage compliance risks and legal interpretations. 5. Reporting and Communication Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports to the concerned authorities. Report any deviations or non-compliance issues to the senior management and suggest corrective actions. 6. Coordination with Operations and Supply Chain TeamsWork closely with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure correct procedures are followed for storage and movement of goods under MOOWR. Ensure appropriate tagging, tracking, and handling of imported and bonded goods. Coordinate with suppliers, customers, CHA (Customs House Agents), and freight forwarders for timely movement of goods. Scrutinize Letter of Credits (LC) and prepare necessary shipping documentation accordingly. Handle documentation for special cases like Duty Drawback, EPCG License, Advance Authorization, etc. Maintain accurate records of all imports and exports for audit and compliance purposes.2. DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) Compliance: Apply and manage various DGFT schemes such as Advance Authorization, EPCG, MEIS, RoDTEP, SEIS, etc. File applications for Importer Exporter Code (IEC) registrations/amendments and ensure timely renewals. Handle Customs clearance activities and troubleshoot any clearance delays. Coordinate for filing Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other customs documents. Maintain HS Codes, customs duties, tariffs, and update regulatory changes affecting trade.4. Banking and Finance Coordination: Work with banks for trade finance activities such as remittances, LC opening, Bank Guarantees related to DGFT schemes. Arrange documentation for realization of export proceeds and update Export Realization Reports (EDPMS/IDPMS). Handle Bank Negotiations and Acceptance documents for export shipments.5. Logistics Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, CHA, transporters for arranging shipment booking and clearance. Monitor shipment schedules and handle any logistic challenges.6. Reporting and MIS: Prepare and maintain monthly reports on exports, imports, shipment status, duty benefits availed, pending licenses, etc. Provide timely information to Management on logistics costs, compliance updates, and export/import performance. Knowledge of ICEGATE, DGFT online portal, and customs documentation processes. Strong understanding of International Trade laws, Incoterms, and DGFT policies. Detail-oriented with good documentation practices. Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
