As a member of the Legal Department at Bizongo, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various Commercial and other Agreements to support the growth and compliance of the organization. You will liaise with business teams to ensure the timely execution of agreements and maintain accurate records. Additionally, you will collate necessary data for business functions and manage compliance-related activities. Your role will involve reviewing existing operations policies, processes, and SOPs, as well as developing new ones as needed. You will perform Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks effectively. Moreover, you will be required to create training materials on compliance matters and conduct training sessions for relevant stakeholders. To excel in this position, you should hold an LLB from a recognized Indian university and possess 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate, business, environmental, and business law. Strong drafting skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in legal research are essential. Moreover, you should demonstrate a quick grasp of technical concepts and a solid understanding of Contract law. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing due diligence reports, maintaining a central repository of agreements and legal documents, and addressing any other legal or statutory compliance matters that may arise.
