BIW Closures Design

You have 6-8 years of relevant experience in BIW Closures Design and are located in Chennai with a short notice period of within 30 days. Your skills include proficiency in Catia V5, Teamcenter, and BIW CAD. You possess domain knowledge in New product development specifically in Body Closures. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing CAD tools such as Catia V5 for Part modelling, GSD, and drafting, as well as having knowledge of Teamcenter/Vismockup. Your primary focus will be on side closures development, taking ownership of the design and development process of side closure components from concept to final design within the designated timeline. You will be accountable for conducting design reviews and technical reviews with cross-functional teams on commodities. It is essential to have a sound understanding of manufacturing feasibility, packaging study, and attachment feasibility. Being a team player and maintaining good customer cross-functional relationships is crucial. Additionally, you should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, be self-motivated with good problem-solving skills, and possess strong communication & inter-personal skills to effectively interact with Engineers, Suppliers, and Customers from different regions.
