BIW- CAD Design Engineer

As a BIW CAD Design Engineer at Dorle Controls, your role will involve focusing on CAD design of sheet metal stampings and assemblies for body sides, underbody, and front structures to ensure manufacturability, performance, and seamless integration. You are expected to have strong expertise in CATIA V5/V6, BIW systems, and sheet metal design processes to deliver high-quality and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Support facilities activities at Novi, MI and Blythewood, SC depending on the development cycle stage - Perform packaging studies and provide media for engineering presentations - Incorporate CAD into OEM KVS systems and modify components as per OEM Engineering direction for design, engineering, and safety requirements - Design sheet metal components and assemblies, support manufacturing feasibility, part performance improvements, and interface changes - Develop new parts/assemblies as required and conduct engineering studies - Release CAD data in KVS system Qualifications Required: - Expertise in CATIA V6 and V5 - Ability to perform packaging studies and knowledge of OEM systems - Proficiency in English (read, speak, understand) - Extensive experience in sheet metal components and assembly design (Note: No additional details about the company were present in the job description),
