To develop, maintain, and optimize blockchain applications and infrastructure based on the Bitcoin protocol. The BTC Developer ensures robust implementation of wallets, nodes, payment gateways, and layer-2 scaling solutions, focusing on security, scalability, and decentralization principles. Role & responsibilities Protocol Development Build and optimize apps on Bitcoin Core, Lightning Network, or custom forks 2. Node and Wallet Integration Implement and maintain secure nodes, multi-sig wallets, and watch-only wallets 3. Security and Compliance Conduct security audits and ensure best practices in key management and data privacy 4. Performance Optimization Optimize transaction speed, fee management, and on-chain/off-chain workflows 5. Documentation and Testing Create robust test suites, write clear technical documentation 6.Cross-team Collaboration Work with QA, product, and UI teams Preferred candidate profile 3+ years experience with blockchain development, specifically Bitcoin Core or similar Hands-on experience with Lightning Network, BTCPay Server, or custom Bitcoin forks Experience with P2P networking and cryptography protocols Prior work on DeFi/BTC Layer 2 solutions is a plus
