Job Description

Biostatistics Programmer (SAS to R Migration) Senior Developer role for the strategic migration of biostatistics workflows from SAS to R across multiple clinical projects. Set best practices and ensure high-quality statistical deliverables in a regulated environment. Suitable for professionals with solid experience in pharma biostatistics and hands-on R and R Shiny development.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect large-scale migration of SAS-based statistical assets to R.
Design, develop, and review advanced R and R Shiny solutions for clinical data analysis and visualization.
Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior programmers.
Establish and enforce coding standards, validation procedures, and documentation.
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in statistical programming.

Required Qualifications:

Masters Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical biostatistics.
Deep expertise in R, R Shiny, and SAS, with proven migration project experience.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards like CDISC standards (SDTM, Adam) is a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
