As a Systems Development Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will be at the forefront of technology, dealing with highly complex system requirements from our customers. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing electronic and electro-mechanical products, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing installation, operation, and maintenance specifications. In this role based in Bangalore, India, within the Custom Design Group, you will have the opportunity to directly impact unique customer solutions using Dell's standard product portfolio. Working closely with the engineering lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing a plan to meet customer goals. Your key responsibilities will include delivering system interfaces, preparing documentation for testing procedures, designing cost-effective testing methods, developing diagnostic programs, and creating specifications for new products. You will be involved in validating server components, configuring diverse server setups, conducting full system validation, and maintaining detailed test plans and reports. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-5 years of experience in validating server components and the ability to configure and validate various server setups. Experience in full system validation, maintaining test plans, and validating BIOS/firmware compatibility is essential. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-8 years of related experience and experience in developing automated test frameworks are desirable.
