Roles and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment such as ultrasound machines, X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and other medical devices. Conduct quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide technical support for new equipment installations or upgrades. Desired Candidate Profile 1-2 years of experience in biomedical engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment including ultrasound machines, X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines etc. . Biomedical Engineer Diploma or Degree complusory To be responsible for Management & Maintenance of all Medical Equipment & Medical Gases Accessories & Motorized Beds in the Hospital. To Co-ordinate & Prepare Annual Capital Equipment, Repairs & Maintenance Budgets. To Track & Control the actual repairs & Maintenance expenses vs. Budget. To prepare and cover all the medical equipment under Electronic Insurance. To do the equipment planning as per the services in co-ordination with unit clinical team & Administration. To ensure site readiness new equipment in close co-ordination with equipment suppliers and codepartments. To arrange Application Training & User Level Training for New equipment till user satisfaction & keep record of all the trainings. To update Assets Registers. To attend/ supervise breakdown calls & routine rounds of all equipment & attend emergency calls on 24 hours basis if needed. To maintain the records for breakdown calls through daily log books. To maintain the Breakdown History of all the Equipment. To prepare preventive maintenance checklists based on manufactures guidelines & equipment breakdown History. To carry out supervision of functioning and usage of different equipment and systems by the hospital staff and guide them for efficient and proper operations/usage. To prepare list & schedule of Calibration Equipment & make sure the calibrations as per schedule. To prepare, Propose & Supervise Equipment for AMC/CMC. To be responsible for biomedical Sub store & Inventory management. To involve actively in cost effective repair solutions through purchase of local spares & local outsourced engineering jobs, if needed. To Keep records & track of all Electronic Insurance claims & Ensure submission of all the required documents to surveyors & Insurance Company within 3 months & track the all the reimbursements. To follow systems and procedures while performing duties. To oversee surgical instruments, their procurement, repairs and monitoring of its need and CAPEX associated with it in association with medical heads, unit heads and various consultants.
