Biology Teacher

Islampur, Maharashtra

₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month (based on experience, performance, and qualifications)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join our academic institution in Islampur. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology effectively, developing students’ conceptual understanding, and preparing them for board and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Biology to secondary and higher secondary students (Grades 8–12 or as assigned)
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the prescribed syllabus
Prepare students for Board Exams (State Board/CBSE/ICSE) and competitive exams such as NEET (if applicable)
Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure proper safety standards
Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, tests, and assessments
Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain academic records, attendance, and performance reports
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic discussions
Support academic enrichment and co-curricular activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Botany, or a related field
B.Ed. preferred (mandatory for school teaching roles)
Strong command over Biology concepts and syllabus

Experience

1–5+ years of teaching experience preferred
Freshers with strong academic background may also apply
Experience in coaching institutes or NEET preparation will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
