We sit in partnership with Business and Digital, and drive data needs across priority and transformative initiatives across R&D. Team members serve as advisors, leaders, and educators to colleagues and data professionals across the R&D value chain. As an integral team member, you will be responsible for defining how R&D's structured, semi-structured and unstructured data will be stored, consumed, integrated / shared and reported by different end users such as scientists, clinicians, and more. Position Summary Business analysts in the R&D Data Office play a pivotal role in translating business needs into use cases and requirements that are utilized by data solutioning teams. Design and synthesis of novel 2D materials, including chalcogenides, carbides, heterostructures Characterization using advanced techniques (IR, NMR, UV, XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman, XPS, AFM, etc.) Fabrication and testing of energy storage devices (e.g., supercapacitors, Li-ion, Na-ion) and sensors Data analysis and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to research proposals. Conduct electrochemical and photoelectrochemical experiments to evaluate catalytic performance. Employ techniques such as CV, LSV, EIS, and chronoamperometry. Analyze structure–activity relationships using advanced characterization tools (XRD, TEM, XPS, SEM, UV-Vis, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-omics data analysis. They will be responsible for integrative analyses and contributing to the development of novel computational approaches to uncover biological insights. Experience: 1-4 years Core Purpose of the Role To support data-driven biological research by performing computational analysis of omics data, and generating translational insights through bioinformatics tools and pipelines. Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analyses of multi-omics datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and epigenomics. Develop computational workflows to integrate various -omics data to generate inference and hypotheses for testing. Conduct differential expression and functional enrichment analyses. Implement and execute data processing workflows and automate the pipelines with best practices for version control, modularization, and documentation. Apply advanced multivariate data analysis techniques, including regression, clustering, and dimensionality reduction, to uncover patterns and relationships in large datasets.
