The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of DDGS across livestock feed markets (poultry, cattle, aquaculture), building strong distributor and end-customer relationships, and creating market awareness about the nutritional and commercial value of DDGS. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development : Identify and develop new markets and customers for DDGS across poultry, dairy, aquaculture, and animal feed sectors. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in volume and value. Manage key accounts, dealers, and feed manufacturers. Market Strategy : Formulate and execute region-specific sales plans. Conduct competitor analysis, pricing strategies, and market intelligence. Promote DDGS as a sustainable and cost-effective feed ingredient. Technical & Customer Support : Coordinate with technical teams to provide feed formulation and usage guidance to customers. Address product-related queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Distribution & Logistics Coordination : Manage order-to-delivery process in coordination with the supply chain/logistics team. Monitor stock, dispatches, and payment collections from dealers/distributors. Reporting & CRM : Maintain detailed MIS, daily sales reports, and customer visit logs. Provide management with forecasts, trends, and demand planning data. Qualifications & Experience Education : MBA (Agri Business/Sales) Experience : 510 years in sales of animal feed, feed ingredients, or agro-industrial byproducts (DDGS, Rice Bran, DOC, etc.) Preferred : Experience in DDGS or feed mill sector is highly desirable Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of livestock feed markets and formulations Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills An analytical mindset with market development abilities Proficient in CRM tools, MS Excel, and report generation Self-driven with the ability to work independently and travel extensively Travel Requirement Frequent travel to customer locations, feed mills, and distributor points (60-70% travel) Compensation Competitive fixed salary + performance incentives + travel allowance + benefits

They are hiring an experienced Quality Team Lead to manage quality operations for grains (maize, etc.) and by-products like DDGS. The role, based at Mudhol (Karnataka), is essential for ensuring compliance, quality standards, and regulatory adherence across raw material and by-product chains. This is a full-time position. Job Title: Quality Team Lead (Grains & DDGS/Other By-Products) Location : Mudhol, Karnataka Department : Quality Assurance & Control Reporting To : Head Operations / Business Unit Head (Byproducts & Raw Material) Key Responsibilities 1. Raw Material (Grains) Quality Management Define and implement quality standards for incoming maize and other grains. Monitor procurement quality at the source, warehouse, and during unloading. Collaborate with procurement and field teams to ensure quality compliance. Lead the deployment of grain grading systems and moisture testing protocols. 2. DDGS & Byproduct Quality Control Oversee production quality and consistency of DDGS and related byproducts. Define product specifications for poultry, dairy, and aquaculture feed usage. Implement batch-wise testing protocols for parameters like moisture, protein, fiber, etc. Conduct internal audits, lab validation, and shelf-life analysis. 3. Quality Systems & Certifications Develop and maintain SOPs, QA protocols, and traceability mechanisms. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BIS, and other regulatory norms. Lead quality audits (internal & external) and certification renewals (ISO, GMP+, etc.) 4. Lab & Team Management Supervise in-house lab operations, equipment calibration, and test procedures. Lead and develop a team of quality executives, chemists, and field inspectors. Train procurement and warehouse teams on quality awareness and SOPs. 5. Reporting & Coordination Maintain quality MIS, deviation reports, and root-cause analyses. Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams for quality feedback and resolution. Support R&D in formulation trials, product improvements, and customer samples. Qualifications & Experience Education : M.Sc./B.Sc. in Agriculture, Food Technology, Animal Nutrition, or related field Experience : 815 years in grain quality control, feed processing, or Agri-byproduct quality assurance Preferred : Experience in ethanol plant operations or DDGS production is a strong advantage Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of grain quality (moisture, infestation, foreign matter, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exposure to feed regulatory standards (FSSAI, BIS, AAFCO) Leadership and team-building capabilities Working knowledge of lab instruments and QMS tools Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and quality documentation software
