Roles & Responsibilities • Oversee engineering/maintenance and trouble shootingactivities for all disciplines like Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation departments and planning with respective departments . To ensure all activities are carried out with required safety strategies and principles. • Take the technical lead in early Project implementation & Project Engineering & plan effectively available resources. • Develop and implement engineering strategies to achieve project goals.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and upto required safety and quality standards. • Lead the Engineering team including technical and performance management. • Collaborates seamlessly with other teams to deliver exceptional results. • Energise the team to solve complex challenges at pace. • Build relationships based on trust with a wide range of stakeholders. • Develop and implement purchasing strategies for components (electrical, mechanical). • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance. • Oversee inventory management and ensure materials are available as needed. • Maintain appropriate level of documentation and records. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analysing data and drafting reports for review. 2. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks related to engineering projects and processes. 3. Process Improvement: Continuously seeking ways to improve engineering processes and workflows. 4. Technology Integration: Overseeing the integration of new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure. Job requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Petrochemical Industry. 2. Proficient in Excel, Autocad, PV Elite, MS-Project andproject management activities. 3. Good communication skills. 4. Strong Leadership and Supervisory skills. 5. Strong negotiation. 6. Able to work in team. Educational Qualification: B.E./B. Tech- Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals sector business with demonstrated experience in heading the Engineering department & handling team. Job Description • Supervision in all stages of a project – Management of project from concept to commissioning. Ensure all activities for the project are timely delivered from Engineering, Procurement, Construction during project inatallation stage. During Commissioning and further Operation ensure timely completion of activities w.r.t engineering, start-up, commissioning, stabilisation and trouble shooting. • Management of department workload - Supervising engineering efforts on projects and coordinating with lead engineers & PMs to monitor the progress, budget & schedule. • Technical governance - ensuring the quality of the technical inputs required for maintaining the operation productivity and safety with appropriate process engineering capabilities. • Quality assurance - Ensuring compliance with requisite codes ,project and corporate quality norms, Formulations of procedures and checklist to ensure quality in all stages of operation and product ,identifying the gaps and establishing the need for deployment and training of quality personnel and updating required procedures based on feedback monitoring system • Resourcing – man-power planning, recruitment & training • Technical & safety audits - performing peer review, chairing various internal and external design & safety review sessions • Ensure statutory approvals required for plant operations are obtained as per schedule • Build relationships based on trust with a wide range of stakeholders. Relevant Experience: ➢ Management of Petrochemical project from concept to commissioning with supervision of timely deliverables to ensure project progress. ➢ Construction Assistance (Developing detail construction plan, Guidance to construction team, Construction quality audits) ➢ Startup and Stabilization (Pre start-up safety audit, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Plant stabilization, Performance test, Training of operation team) ➢ Project Management (Detailed project costing, Project management consulting, Detailed project planning) Job requirements: 1.
