Position Overview: The Sales Manager – Spare Parts is responsible for driving sales growth, managing dealer and customer relationships, supervising the sales team, and ensuring optimal inventory turnover for the spare parts division. This role involves planning, strategy development, and execution to achieve revenue and profitability targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. --- Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5–8 years of experience in spare parts sales, preferably in the automotive industry . * Proven experience in team leadership and achieving sales targets. * Strong knowledge of automotive parts, catalogues, and pricing structures. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development * Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. * Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential customers (retail, institutional, fleet, and workshop clients). * Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust pricing and marketing strategies. * Promote genuine spare parts through customer awareness programs and campaigns. 2. Customer Relationship Management * Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and build new ones. * Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries and complaints. * Conduct regular visits to workshops, fleet owners, and retailers to build brand loyalty. 3. Team Management * Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals. * Set clear performance objectives, monitor sales performance, and conduct regular reviews. * Ensure adherence to company policies, code of conduct, and safety guidelines. 4. Inventory & Operations * Coordinate with the parts manager and procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels. * Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items; recommend stock replenishment or liquidation. * Ensure proper storage, labeling, and dispatch of spare parts to avoid damages or losses. 5. Reporting & Analysis * Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and collection reports. * Analyze sales performance by product line, customer segment, and geography. * Provide inputs for annual budgeting and business planning.
