Job Description

BIM Modelers (JOB CODE : KSA-1809) Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelors degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years experience BIM modelling within the construction industry. Certification in BIM or related software. Experience working for a large-scale civil contracting organization. Candidates having GCC region experience are preferred for familiarity with local market conditions. Knowledge of design industry workflow, production cycle and priorities. Ability to understand architectural and engineering information and produce BIM models from it. Ability to analyze data and churn out information and preempt incidents. Roles and Responsibilities: Create and modify BIM Models based on the Project standard/BIM template. Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria. Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines to accommodate design changes and resolve the model challenges. Content creation: Parts / families using catalogue information/ other inputs. Assist BIM Manager in modelling and simulation of Projects based off existing 3D CAD Plans. Perform clash coordination using Revit / Navisworks. Designing as well as Drafting of systems following Industry Standards. Apply knowledge of basic engineering calculations in creating models/shop drawings and understanding sequential work progress. Create 2D/3D Views, Sections, Schematic Diagrams, Shaft and Riser Diagrams, Quantity Schedules. Produce shop drawings from BIM Models. We should be aware of all Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting standards. Work with various parties to update as built model and 2D sheet files through construction and changes on site or from the Client. Designing as well as drafting of system project following HVAC standards (MEP).
