BIM Modeller

As a BIM Modeller (WET IC) at the company, your role involves developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools. You will be responsible for coordinating electrical models with Process, Mechanical, and Civil Models to ensure clash-free designs and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules to incorporate them into BIM. Additionally, you will generate detailed drawings such as layouts, sections, and elevations as required for design or construction documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems (lighting, Earthing, Cabling) using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools. - Coordinate electrical models with Process, Mechanical, Civil Models to ensure clash-free designs. - Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules and incorporate them into BIM. - Generate detailed drawings such as layouts, sections, and elevations as required for design or construction documentation. - Collaborate with design engineers and project teams to incorporate changes and updates into the model. - Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools and resolve inter-discipline coordination issues. - Maintain model standards and documentation in accordance with company and project BIM protocols. - Support quantity take-offs and extraction of BOQs from BIM models where required. - Participate in internal and external coordination meetings. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Communication. - Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE).
