Bim Mep Modeler

Role & responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project requirements and BIM execution plans.

• Coordinate and collaborate with architectural and structural teams to ensure clash-free multidisciplinary models.

• Interpret and work from design drawings, specifications, and BIM standards to produce accurate and consistent modeling outputs.

• Generate coordinated shop drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.

• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues with consultants and internal teams.

• Update models based on markups, design changes, and site revisions.

• Maintain BIM documentation, families, templates, and ensure compliance with client-specific standards.

• Participate in project review meetings and provide technical inputs related to MEP systems and modeling practices.

• Work on

  Dubai-based residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects

  adhering to local codes and specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education

  : Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.

• Experience

  : 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in BIM Modeling for MEP services.

• Software Proficiency

  : Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP is mandatory. Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is an added advantage.

• Domain Expertise

  : Must have worked on

  Gulf/Dubai projects

  with knowledge of regional codes and standards.

• Coordination Skills

  : Proven experience in coordinating with architecture and structural disciplines for clash-free BIM deliverables.

• Attention to Detail

  : Ability to understand and interpret complex MEP systems and produce high-quality, coordinated models and drawings.

• Communication

  : Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external consultants.

• Team Player

  : Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
