BIM Designer with relevant Diploma/Engineering as required. Delivering of CAD/BIM work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Evaluate the client EIR, project scope and delivery schedule. Collaborate with clients to define digital delivery strategy for the project. Create and maintain the BIM Execution Plan for projects. Establish and manage Common Data Environment to support collaboration between all project stakeholders. Setup models for individual disciplines and for federation. Define processes for QA/QC of models and check compliance of models to client requirements. Interact with clients and external stakeholders to manage delivery. Supports the deployment of innovative processes, tools, and methodologies. Ensure project delivery in compliance with ISO19650 by performing regular audits across the project lifecycle. Mentor junior personnel to take on the role of an Information Manager. Experience & Knowledge Minimum of 7 - 15 Years of overall experience in BIM Project Delivery in international projects and must have minimum 7-8 years of experience in BIM/VDC works over the large-scale projects. Minimum of 2 Years of experience in managing Multi-Disciplinary Co-ordination in large projects with geographically dispersed teams. International experience working with global project teams. Experience in reviewing client EIRs and authoring BEPs. Experience in creating client EIRs is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards. Knowledge of 4D-5D-6D would be an added advantage. Software Skill Expertise in setting up and managing projects on BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or ProjectWise. Expertise in Navisworks clash detection and multi-disciplinary co-ordination. Expertise in one of more of the following BIM Authoring Tools – Revit, Civil3D, Plant 3D, Bentley Open Suite. Knowledge of PowerBI or other data visualization tools would be an added advantage. Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo / Microsoft Power Automate would be an added advantage. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture. Master’s qualification would be an added advantage. Certification in ISO19650 would be an added advantage. Job Description Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, should have 4+ year relevant experience in Consultant field. High level of skill and experience on Revit MEPF and other Building services Fully conversant with BIM 360 with the ability to fully configure collaboration Full understanding of LOD Specifications Ability to lead & Guide a team of junior / Modelers Working knowledge and proficiency with the following: Collaboration and data management solutions: BIM 360 Suite, Assemble, Synchro, Navisworks, 3D/BIM-enabled quantity takeoff and BIM-enabled estimating tool Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes and general approaches Responsible for Planning, Scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects on multidisciplinary projects. Providing Revit support the MEP department on design and technical issues. Collaborating 3D models with Structural, Architectural, and MEP for coordination reviews. Setting up projects to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standards. Establishment of documented processes, procedures and workflows. Managing interoperability of BIM and design / Engineering tools Ensure COBie / similar information Skillsets: Proficiency in BIM Software: Mastery of BIM software is essential. Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Autocad and Navisworks Plumbing and Fire fighting , HVAC System Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, including different types of equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and their interactions within a building's structure. Building Systems Coordination: The ability to coordinate HVAC systems with other building systems (structural, architectural, HVACtrical, plumbing, etc.) to identify and resolve clashes or conflicts 3D Modeling and Visualization: Proficiency in creating accurate 3D models and visualizations of HVAC systems to communicate design concepts effectively. AutoCAD Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD for detailed drafting and documentation of HVAC systems is often a requirement in this role. Documentation: Ability to generate detailed HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications for construction and permit applications. Time Management: Efficient project management and time management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure project progression. Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information to various team members. Quality Control: Ability to review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with project requirements. COBie : Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery deliverables at LOD 300. Problem resolving : Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
