BIM Facilitator Faculty

A BIM Facilitator Faculty is an academic professional responsible for training and guiding students and construction professionals in the effective utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, methodologies, and industry best practices. This role bridges the gap between academic theory and industry demands, ensuring students are job-ready for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A strong educational background, typically a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related construction field.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 0-2years of practical experience working in the BIM industry is often a requirement, providing real-world context to the training.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in industry-standard BIM software and tools is essential.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for effective teaching and mentoring.
• Certifications: Relevant BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) can enhance qualifications.
