BIM Engineer - Lighting

You should have a good understanding of the lighting design production process and be able to develop high-quality hand-sketches. It is important to possess strong proficiency in software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Sketchup, and have a solid understanding of Revit and BIM. Your responsibilities will include providing support in the production of deliverables from concept to tender stages. This involves tasks such as BIM modeling of electrical lighting, glow plans, sections, elevations, and sketch details, as well as basic 3D modeling and the production of drawings using Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. You should also be capable of producing bills of quantities (BOQs), luminaire schedules, and control schedules. The ability to work independently with a technical understanding of BIM lighting and related disciplines is essential. Attention to detail and accuracy in your work are crucial, as well as the capacity to visually communicate lighting principles effectively. You will be expected to handle day-to-day project tasks and discuss any project issues with colleagues or team leaders.
