About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Electrical Modeller with strong design knowledge to join our BIM team. The role involves creating, developing, and coordinating electrical BIM models, ensuring compliance with design standards, and supporting multi-disciplinary coordination in projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models (Revit/AutoCAD) at LOD 300–500 as per project requirements.
• Interpret and implement electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts into accurate 3D models.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure clash-free deliverables.
• Assist in design development including lighting, power distribution, cable tray routing, fire alarm, ELV, and low-voltage systems.
• Generate detailed shop drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs (QTO) from BIM models.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and ISO 19650 / company protocols.
• Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks/BIMCollab/Revizto.
• Support engineers in design validation, load calculations, and compliance with IS, IEC, and NEC standards.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and model handover processes (COBie/IFC formats).
• Maintain model accuracy, updates, and version control throughout project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modelling of Electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks (knowledge of Dynamo scripting is a plus).
• Good understanding of electrical design principles – load distribution, panel schedules, cable sizing, lighting layouts, earthing, and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with international and Indian electrical codes/standards (IS, IEC, NEC, NFPA).
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multi-disciplinary BIM teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM workflows (Synchro, Vico).
• Exposure to Scan-to-BIM workflows and as-built documentation.
• Experience in ISO 19650 / PAS 1192 standards for BIM project delivery.
• Prior experience in large-scale EPC / Infrastructure / Hospital / Metro / Commercial projects.
