BIM Coordinator - Electrical

You are a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Coordinator specializing in electrical systems, seeking an opportunity to join our team in Bengaluru, India. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for electrical systems in construction and engineering projects. Your key tasks will include developing and maintaining BIM models for electrical systems using software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEP. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure the accurate integration of electrical systems within the overall BIM model. Additionally, you will analyze and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building systems in the BIM environment. As part of your role, you will create and manage BIM content libraries for electrical components, develop and implement BIM standards and best practices for electrical systems, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize electrical design and installation processes. Your expertise will be crucial in generating reports and documentation to support project planning and decision-making. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in BIM coordination with a focus on electrical systems. Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEP, is essential. A BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, would be preferred. Your strong knowledge of electrical systems design and construction processes, along with your ability to coordinate complex projects and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, will be valuable in this role.
