As a Retail Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our bakery/FMCG products in various retail outlets. Your main responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, managing product placement, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners. Your day-to-day tasks will involve visiting retail shops, supermarkets, and departmental stores to showcase and sell our products. Building and nurturing relationships with store owners, managers, and purchasing staff will be essential. You will also be in charge of executing promotional campaigns, organizing in-store tastings, and other marketing initiatives. Keeping track of daily sales reports and sharing them with the Sales Manager will be part of your routine. Additionally, monitoring competitor activities and staying informed about market trends will be crucial to your success. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, particularly in FMCG or bakery products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with a target-oriented mindset and excellent negotiation abilities. Knowledge of the local retail market and customer behavior will be advantageous, as well as basic understanding of billing, invoicing, and stock management. Having a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is preferred for this position. This is a full-time position, and proficiency in English is preferred. Day shift availability is also preferred, and the work location will be in person.
