Billing Transformation - Conversion Senior Associate

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate in the Billing Transformation - Conversion team at State Street, you will play a crucial role in the global billing function under Controllership. Your main responsibility will be to provide subject matter expertise in client billing setup and invoice creation as part of a major re-engineering project. You will work closely with different business units to interpret complex fee schedules, configure client fee schedules in the billing platform, and ensure high-quality deliverables within specified timelines. Additionally, you will engage with the Billing Transformation PMO to convert new clients and drive process improvements based on learnings. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret complex fee schedules for different businesses and collaborate with business units to understand their requirements - Complete high-quality deliverables within committed timeframes, such as analyzing new client revenue arrangements and collecting raw data for the billing process - Engage with the Billing Transformation PMO to convert new clients and enhance processes and controls - Perform self-review of reporting & analytics deliverables for accuracy and present analytical results as required - Take general responsibility for specific fee schedule activities, including set-up and maintenance review - Participate in accounting and financial analyses on critical issues and serve as a subject matter expert on financial management matters - Develop and update financial models, prepare reports, and interpret results for management - Provide guidance to less seasoned analysts and participate in function-specific projects as needed Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance with 5-7 years of progressive experience in billing areas with major financial institutions - Experience in financial planning & analysis in a global setting and complex operational environments - Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, billing operations, and revenue accrual - Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels of seniority - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and ability to adapt to changing environments - Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under high-pressure deadlines About State Street: State Street is a global institution that helps institutional investors manage risk, drive performance, and profitability.
