Job Description

As a Manager / Sr. Manager Billing & QS with over 10+ years of experience in managing billing, cost control, and quantity surveying activities on high-rise residential or commercial projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of projects. This includes budgeting, procurement, billing, and final account closure. Your leadership will ensure strict adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and financial parameters. Your key responsibilities will include: Project Budget & Cost Control: - Analyzing project budget variances and monitoring construction and material costs. - Ensuring progress reports align with project schedules and maintaining budget adherence. Site Supervision & Measurement: - Supervising on-site work to maintain quality standards and compliance with design specifications. - Verifying on-site measurements for accuracy and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on actual work done. Coordination & Communication: - Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other agencies for smooth project execution. Billings & Certification: - Handling certification of contractors" bills and ensuring accurate and timely billings. - Monitoring SAP bill booking and resolving any billing-related issues. Contract Management & Documentation: - Scrutinizing work order quantities, contractor rates, and compliance with commercial terms. - Reviewing documentation for tender/contracts/billing formalities and ensuring compliance. Procurement & Purchase Orders: - Coordinating with the Central Procurement Department for vendor selection and work order finalizations. - Processing purchase requisitions and service requisitions in SAP and verifying vendor-supplied materials. Project Reporting & MIS: - Generating reports on project expenditure, closure of work orders, and project progress. - Coordinating reconciliations of materials and maintaining accurate record-keeping. Team Leadership & Support: - Supporting and mentoring junior quantity surveyors and project team members in cost management and billing processes. - Ensuring quality and timeliness of project deliverables and adherence to project standards. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field. - Minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects. - Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost management, and construction billing processes. - Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools. Preferred Skills: - Membership in a recognized professional body. - Extensive experience with high-value, complex projects. - Strong understanding of commercial and legal aspects of construction contracts. - Ability to analyze and report project financials accurately.,
