Billing Platform Administrator, Sr

As a knowledgeable IT Billing Analyst, Sr at Solera, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emerging BillingPlatform global implementation. You will be responsible for participating in Billing Platform initiatives, implementations, and providing daily support. Your role will involve documenting and maintaining billing and financial internal processes, contributing to process improvements, system mapping, and user training in the areas of Billing, Collections, Cash Applications, and Financial Close. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your responsibilities as you will work closely with all Billing, Accounting, and IT teams to automate manual processes, implement best practices, and ensure that our business needs are met from a cross-functional perspective. Leading meetings with user groups, super users, process experts, and functional leaders will also be part of your routine to discuss issues, ideas, and requested/proposed changes. In this role, you will be required to analyze the business requirements of all internal departments to standardize/improve business practices, processes, and procedures for BillingPlatform. Identifying trends and areas for improvement in billing data, taking proactive actions regarding updates, and working closely with teams to understand current processes and issues will be essential tasks. Additionally, you will support the Billing team as a subject matter expert, create reports using Billing Platform data for various tools like Excel, PowerBI, etc., and configure BillingPlatform to meet business needs effectively. Your role will demand a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with enterprise billing applications, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. Having strong analytical and data reconciliation skills, being solution-oriented, possessing excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams outside the Finance Department are qualities that are highly valued for this position. Prior experience with BillingPlatform, SQL knowledge, PowerBI knowledge, and familiarity with Oracle EBS or Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O will be advantageous.
