Job Title: Billing Executive

Location: Nehru Place, Delhi

Qualification: B.Com (Mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 1 year in billing/accounts

Salary Budget: Up to ₹25,000/month

Key Responsibilities

• **Invoice & Billing Management**
• Generate and send client invoices promptly.
• Process credit & debit memos accurately.
• Monitor outstanding payments, reconcile customer accounts.
• Accounting Entries
• Understand debit: “what comes in” (e.g., cash, receivables) and credit: “what goes out” (e.g., revenue, payables) principles.
• Record daily sales entries: debiting cash/accounts receivable and crediting sales revenue.
• Excel & Reporting
• Use VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly billing & ageing reports.
• Budget Management
• Maintain departmental budget up to ₹25,000 in Excel.
• Track expenses, forecast requirements, implement controls.
• Compliance & Coordination
• Ensure invoices include GST, HSN/SAC codes as applicable. Indeed
• Liaise with sales, operations, and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies.

Education

B.Com degree (mandatory)

ExperienceAt least 1 year in billing/accounts

Essential Skills— MS Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables

Basic accounting principles

Soft Skills-Detail‑oriented, good communication, problem solving

Entry: Debit & Credit Explained

• Sales Invoice
• Debit: Accounts Receivable (A/R)Credit: Sales Revenue
• Receipt of Payment

Debit: Cash/BankCredit: Accounts Receivable

• Purchase Entry
• Payment to Vendor

Excel & Budgeting

• Budget Planning: Use Excel to track monthly expenses up to ₹25,000—include categories, actuals vs. budget, variance.
• VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables:
• Reconcile billing against dispatch/sales logs
• Track overdue invoices and payment timelines
• Templates: Create dynamic sheets—drop-down cost categories, conditional formatting for variances.
