Billing Executive

We are hiring for Senior Billing Executive, Billing Executives for our Dwarka sector 28 based office. below are the job requirement:

Job Summary

The Billing Executive – Air Import is responsible for preparing accurate and timely billing for air import shipments, ensuring compliance with customer contracts, airline tariffs, and company policies. The role requires close coordination with operations, finance, airlines, agents, and customers to ensure error-free invoicing and timely revenue realization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue air import invoices as per agreed customer contracts and rate confirmations
• Verify job files, shipment documents, and cost sheets before billing
• Ensure correct billing of freight charges, airline charges, handling charges, customs-related charges, and other applicable fees
• Coordinate with air import operations team for shipment details and cost validation
• Ensure invoices are raised within defined turnaround time (TAT)
• Handle billing queries, disputes, and corrections in coordination with operations and sales teams
• Maintain accurate billing records and update ERP / billing systems
• Follow up on missing costs, approvals, and supporting documents
• Support month-end closing and reporting related to air import billing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or any related field
• 1–4 years of experience in billing or finance, preferably in freight forwarding / logistics
• Strong knowledge of air import processes and charges
• Familiarity with airline tariffs, IATA rules, and Incoterms (preferred)
• Experience working with ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• working knowledge in Logysis software
