Post - Billing engineer

Experience - 2yr to 5yr

Core Responsibilities

Quantity & Measurement:
Take quantities from drawings, prepare Measurement Sheets (MB), and cross-check with site progress .

Bill Preparation:
Create detailed RA (Running Account) bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills with item rates, often using BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

Verification & Certification:
Certify contractor and subcontractor bills, ensuring they match actual work and contract terms, and get client approval.

Rate Analysis:
Determine rates for extra items or new works, based on market rates, DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates), or tender documents, Quora.

Documentation:
Maintain meticulous records, prepare financial reports (MIS), and manage all billing-related documents.

Key Duties

Cost Control:
Monitor project expenses, track budget adherence, and identify cost deviations.
Coordination:
Act as a liaison between site engineers, project managers, clients, and the accounts department.
Material Reconciliation:
Prepare statements to reconcile free-of-cost (FOC) materials with site usage.
Compliance:
Ensure all billing activities comply with contractual obligations and company policies.
Software Use:
Utilize Excel, Word, and ERP/SAP software for data entry and analysis.
