Location: Central Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad & surrounding areas) Industry: Roofing Solutions / Building Materials (Steel & Cement) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Officer to drive sales of Tata Shaktee (Galvanized Corrugated Sheets) and Tata Durashine (Color Coated Roofing Sheets) across Central Gujarat . The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, preferably in the cement and steel industry , and a deep understanding of the local construction ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Promote and sell Tata Shaktee and Tata Durashine products to dealers, distributors, contractors, and builders. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach. Territory Management Manage and grow the assigned territory across Central Gujarat. Conduct regular market visits to ensure brand visibility and customer engagement. Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic insights. Channel Partner Engagement Onboard and manage channel partners and retail outlets. Provide product training and sales support to dealers and distributors. Ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Address customer queries and ensure prompt resolution. Provide technical guidance on product applications and benefits. Reporting & Coordination Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions. Collaborate with internal teams for logistics, marketing, and finance coordination. Share market feedback and performance updates with regional leadership Qualifications & Skills Graduate in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of proven sales experience , preferably in cement, steel, or roofing solutions . Strong network within the Central Gujarat construction and dealer community. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
