Bigdata / ETL Automation Tester

As an experienced professional in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, you will be responsible for testing Front to back aspects of applications, ETL pipelines, and ensuring data quality within software applications. Your role will involve building and maintaining automated testing scripts written in Scala, Spark, and SQL. You will collaborate with a team that has expertise in automation framework development and previous experience in testing and quality assurance roles. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with data and contribute to the automation of scenarios for global Regulatory Reporting requirements. You will be a part of the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance IT team based in Pune, India. This team focuses on automating scenarios for global Regulatory Reporting requirements and supports internal clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an automation testing framework for ETL and Data Quality Validation - Build and maintain automated testing scripts written in Scala, Spark, SQL, and Selenium - Collaborate with Scrum/Agile teams to establish and support the execution of automated tests on the Continuous Integration Environment - Create, modify, and execute automated tests, test scripts, and test suites, including functional and regression tests, to extract, transform, and load data between systems - Execute both manual and automated tests, analyze execution results, and determine the reasons for test failures - Ensure clear and prompt reporting on build/release status to all stakeholders based on test run execution results - Develop expertise in applications and maintain solid knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques supporting Front to Back/ETL/Data Integration testing UBS, as the world's largest global wealth manager, operates through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
