Job Description Position Title: Site Supervisor – Fit-Out Location: Pune Department: Projects Reporting To: Project Manager Job Purpose The Site Supervisor – Fit-Out will be responsible for managing the day-to-day on-site execution of interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that all activities are completed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and within the approved time and cost parameters. This position requires close collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities1. Project Supervision Oversee all on-site activities related to interior fit-out projects. Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Manage daily site operations and promptly resolve any on-site issues or delays. 2. Coordination Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of works. Conduct routine site coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with the design and project management teams to resolve technical or execution challenges. 3. Quality Assurance & Safety Enforce quality control procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards at all times. Conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor safety practices across the site. Maintain detailed records of safety observations and report any incidents promptly. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain site-related documents including daily progress reports, inspection checklists, material delivery logs, and photographic documentation. Update the project team regularly on progress versus schedule. Manage inventory and usage of site materials and resources. 5. Problem Solving Proactively identify potential site issues and implement effective solutions. Address any discrepancies in work execution in coordination with the project management team. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in interior fit-out, preferably in commercial, office, or retail environments. In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, interior finishes, and MEP integration. Knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools. Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills. High commitment to safety, quality standards, and timely project execution. Working Conditions Full-time, site-based position. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends based on project needs. Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a construction environment.
