Tetra Pak Business Stream Ice Cream (BSIC) is responsible for developing and producing processing solutions, equipment, and fillers for customers in the global ice cream industry. Our centers of excellence are located in Denmark, China, and India, with the BSIC facility in Chakan, Pune focusing on designing and manufacturing processing solutions for the South Asia market and beyond. As a Process Leader within BS Ice Cream, you will play a crucial role in creating, standardizing, localizing, and optimizing skid-based processing modules as a process engineer. This position will be based in Chakan, Pune, India, and will involve commissioning, onsite customer support, and collaborating with the sales team to deliver the best solutions. Flexibility for global travel (approximately 20% of your time) is also required. Your responsibilities will include developing technical concepts and solutions, managing projects of varying scales, coordinating with fabrication teams, providing technical support to the Supplier Management Team, leading process design activities, and ensuring timely delivery of projects while meeting quality standards. You will also be involved in commissioning activities, customer handover, and representing Tetra Pak as an ambassador. To excel in this role, you should have a university degree in Mechanical/Process/Food Engineering, a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience, proficiency in English (both verbal and written), and experience in the food/liquid processing industry. Additionally, experience in design/commissioning of Ice Cream mix plants, project management, client-facing roles, and familiarity with engineering software tools are desirable.
