Job Title : Production Manager Location : Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra Industry : Bicycle Industry Experience : 3 - 15 Years Qualification : Mechanical Engineering Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our bicycle manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, optimizing workflow, and leading the production team to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities : Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production. Supervise daily production operations, maintenance, and manpower deployment. Monitor and improve production KPIs including productivity, downtime, rejection rate, and on-time delivery. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies. Coordinate with the R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics teams for smooth operations. Handle machine maintenance schedules and troubleshoot production issues promptly. Maintain accurate production documentation and reports. Train and motivate the production team to enhance performance and discipline. Key Skills & Competencies : Strong technical knowledge of bicycle or similar manufacturing processes. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with production planning software and ERP systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus. Effective communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and English. Preferred Background : Prior experience in the bicycle engineering manufacturing industry is strongly preferred. Hands-on experience in managing shop floor teams and operations. Working Conditions : Factory-based role at Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra
