As a Cloud Infra DevOps Linux Engineer at our Digital Technology Team, you will play a crucial role in building innovative solutions to support the Baker Hughes Cloud strategy. Working alongside a collaborative team in an Agile/DevOps environment, you will be responsible for developing and deploying Enterprise Cloud infrastructure automation solutions with a focus on Linux image creation, security, patching, and administration. Your passion for automating everything and delivering exceptional customer experiences will drive you to excel in this role while ensuring compliance with security guidelines. To be successful in this position, you should possess a bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a strong knowledge of AWS & Azure and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Your expertise in enterprise-scale Linux systems administration, programming skills (particularly Python), and familiarity with IP networking concepts will be essential. Additionally, experience in infrastructure orchestration tools such as SSM, automation account, ansible, and a good understanding of CI/CD concepts will be beneficial for this role.
