As a Project Manager in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various tasks related to audio-visual (AV) projects. Your main duties will include structured cabling for audio, video, control, and termination, along with the installation of AV devices. This will involve setting up and installing equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, and video monitors. You will also be required to ensure the quality of sound feeds, set up video conferences, and test and resolve any equipment issues that may arise. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will need to ensure that all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards, and conventions. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining communication with the lead installation technician and the Project Manager to ensure that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations. Safety practices must be followed and maintained at all times. You should possess strong leadership skills and be adept at managing teams with high standards. Working with subcontractors and overseeing remote operations will also be part of your role. Providing technical support for AV when necessary, ensuring timely project completion, maintaining a database of all AV activities and updates, and reviewing installation reports are crucial aspects of this position. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree along with at least 5 years of experience in the AV field. It is essential to be certified in Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Biamp, CISCO, and CTS. Willingness to travel, if required, is a must for this role. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund.
