BI Team Lead

As an experienced and motivated BI Team Lead with 6-8 years of experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks, your role will involve leading and mentoring a team of BI developers and analysts to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations of BI production support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals, managing and optimizing reporting solutions, and handling incident, change, and problem management in alignment with ITIL best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Oversee daily operations of BI production support to meet SLAs and incident response metrics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize tasks. - Manage and optimize reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks. - Handle incident management, change management, and problem management following ITIL best practices. - Proactively monitor BI platforms, address performance issues, and system downtimes. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including root cause analysis (RCA) and SOPs. - Coordinate shift-based activities and ensure seamless handovers between shifts. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - 6-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Team Lead role managing a BI support or development team. - Strong understanding of BI production support environments, including issue triaging and root cause analysis. - Hands-on experience with data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design. - Familiarity with Azure services, data pipelines, and data lakes is highly desirable. - Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience working in ITIL-governed environments. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Flexibility to work in shifts, including night shifts if required. Preferred Certifications (Good to Have): - Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. - Tableau Desktop Specialist / Certified Professional. - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Azure Data Engineer. - ITIL Foundation Certification.,
