Director- Business Intelligence Location: India (Remote) Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Business Intelligence to lead our global BI function. While this role is based in India, the ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, cross-functional leadership, and experience working closely with US-based business teams, not just technical expertise. This leader will be responsible for building and executing the BI roadmap, aligning KPIs across departments, owning and administering our enterprise data governance program, and ensuring our data assets are accurate, accessible, and actionable. Product owner or product manager experience is highly desirable, as this role requires prioritizing initiatives, translating stakeholder needs into deliverables, and delivering impactful data solutions. This is a remote role based in India. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy Own and execute the company's BI strategy in alignment with broader business objectives Serve as the central liaison across business units to gather requirements and align reporting priorities Develop and manage the BI roadmap, including tool selection, platform improvements, and team development Provide product owner-like leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver BI and data governance initiatives Lead high-impact BI projects from planning through delivery, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout Insights and Analytics Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support executive decision-making and business operations Partner with FP&A, marketing, operations, and product teams to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Promote a culture of data literacy and empower teams with self-service analytics capabilities Data Governance Own and lead the company's enterprise data governance program Define and enforce consistent data definitions, standards, and policies across departments Collaborate with compliance, IT, and data engineering to ensure alignment with privacy, accuracy, and regulatory requirements Technology and Tools Evaluate and manage BI platforms such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, and Snowflake Oversee ETL processes, data warehousing strategy, and the integration of multiple data sources Collaborate with technology partners to ensure a scalable, modern, and secure BI architecture Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Masters preferred) 8 or more years of experience in BI, analytics, or data strategy roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity Strong track record of stakeholder engagement and delivering business-focused BI solutions Proficiency with BI tools, SQL, data modeling, and modern data stacks Experience leading or supporting enterprise data governance programs Familiarity with Agile or product ownership methodologies is a strong plus Excellent communication, prioritization, and project management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with distributed teams What You'll Get If You Join Us Fully remote opportunity based in India Competitive salary plus bonus Health, life, and personal accident insurance A collaborative, innovative culture where your work makes a visible impact Opportunities to expand your skill set and shape company-wide data strategy
