BI Engineer/Data Visualization Specialist

As a BI Engineer / Data Visualization Specialist specializing in QlikView to Power BI migration, your role involves: - Migration of QlikView dashboards and reports to Power BI, ensuring functional parity and optimization. - Maintaining lights on support for QlikView including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, validate KPIs, and map QlikView reports to Power BI dashboards. - Providing production support for QlikView environments and addressing report-related issues. - Working with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines and models support Power BI dashboards. - Ensuring proper documentation, version control, and governance of migrated reports. - Assisting in training business users on Power BI capabilities and best practices. - Identifying opportunities for report rationalization and optimization during migration. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics. - Strong expertise in QlikView report development, administration, and troubleshooting. - Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard design, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query. - Experience in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) for backend queries and data integration. - Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines. - Ability to analyze and resolve issues in BI reporting systems quickly. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
