Role & responsibilities Assist in planning and executing sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. Manage distributor relationships and ensure timely order processing, stock replenishment, and payment collections. Monitor and drive secondary sales through retail outlets, wholesalers, and modern trade partners. Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and visibility initiatives in the market. Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to provide actionable insights. Ensure proper coverage and frequency of visits by the sales team across assigned geography. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for internal review. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5–10 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in general trade or modern trade. Strong understanding of channel dynamics, distributor management, and retail operations. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
