Job Summary: As a Field Service Engineer at our robotics company, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support and services to our customers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our robotic systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your expertise and customer-centric approach will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge robotics solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Setup: ○ Install and configure robotic systems at customer sites according to specifications. ○ Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor installations to their needs. 2. Maintenance and Repairs: ○ Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of robotic systems. ○ Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identifying faulty components and implementing repairs promptly. ○ Collaborate with remote technical teams for complex problem-solving. 3. Testing and Calibration: ○ Conduct rigorous testing and calibration of robotic systems to meet performance standards. ○ Fine-tune parameters to optimize system efficiency and accuracy. 4. Customer Support: ○ Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical queries. ○ Train customers on proper operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems. 5. Documentation: ○ Effective documentation of service reports, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation. 6. Product Knowledge: ○ Stay up-to-date with advancements in robotics technology and our product offerings. ○ Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance expertise. 7. Remote Support: ○ Assist customers remotely by guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and offering solutions. 8. Safety and Compliance: ○ Adhere to safety protocols when working with robotic systems, including risk assessment and proper use of personal protective equipment. 9. Reporting: ○ Provide feedback to internal teams regarding common issues, potential improvements, and customer feedback. 10. Travel: ○ Travel to customer locations for installations, maintenance, and repairs as required. Qualifications:. 1. Education: ○ Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field preferred. Relevant experience and technical certifications may also be considered. 2. Technical Skills: ○ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components of robotic systems. ○ Ability to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of robotic systems. ○ Understanding of electrical systems in robotics, including sensors, motor controllers, encoders, and power distribution. ○ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. ○ Awareness of safety measures when working with robots, including emergency stop procedures, risk assessment, and safeguarding. 3. Problem-Solving Skills: ○ Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. 4. Communication: ○ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer interactions and team collaboration. 5. Customer Focus: ○ Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and building positive relationships. 6.
