Job Title: Project Head – Open Cast Coal Mine (Greenfield Project) Location: Odisha, India Industry: Mining / Coal Mining Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Experience: Minimum 20+ years in coal mining (including greenfield project execution) Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall development and execution of a 9 MTPA greenfield open cast coal mining project in Odisha. Coordinate land acquisition, statutory clearances (Forest, EC, R&R, DGMS), and mine infrastructure development. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and timely approval processes. Liaison with government authorities, consultants, and internal teams for effective execution. Manage production planning, deployment of HEMM, and ensure safety and environmental standards. Build and lead a multidisciplinary team for successful project commissioning and ramp-up. Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering (mandatory) First Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Coal) – DGMS, India (mandatory) Preferred Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills. Experience in greenfield open cast mine development and operation. Good liaisoning abilities with state and central authorities.
