As an HRO - Allboarding Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 7-10 years of relevant experience in recruitment, including years in a supervisory role, you will have hands-on experience in onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and Background Check (BGC) processes. It is essential to be familiar with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc. Your role will require a strong understanding of compliance and labor regulations, as well as experience in managing third-party vendors and global HR operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing background verification processes in collaboration with third-party vendors, supporting recruitment events, knowledge transfer within the team, and driving performance metrics during and post knowledge transfer. Additionally, you will be involved in studying and bridging gaps in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), driving audits, data quality checks, and SOP governance for employee lifecycle operations. Robust Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and mitigation will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will be expected to define and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business goals, drive initiatives to enhance processes and outcomes, and identify opportunities for process efficiency improvements in collaboration with leaders. Providing insights on trends and process improvements, implementing and monitoring quality assurance frameworks, and upholding service excellence will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, your role will involve bringing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) domain knowledge to help new hires up the learning curve, conducting refreshers and cross-training sessions. It is essential to drive compliance with hiring policies, data privacy, and regulatory standards. The work hours for this position are 2:30 AM - 11:30 AM (2 Days) and 7 AM - 4 PM (3 Days) in Gurgaon Badshahpur, following a hybrid work model. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding and exit processes for new and departing employees, oversee background verification processes, ensure timely and accurate employee data entry, and record management in HR systems. Your operational oversight will span across Australia, New Zealand, and India. Strong leadership, team management abilities, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, high attention to detail, process orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment are essential requirements. JOB PURPOSE - The onboarding Specialist will be responsible for getting an employee onboarded and getting their Drug Test and Background verification processed along with their badging and sharing of credentials with the employee and coordinating with the HR team for employee orientation. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - BGV, DT & Badging Gather and process paperwork, like contracts and non-disclosure agreements. Craft and send emails with information about the company and position, including work schedules, dress code, and parking options. Ensure all verifications sent out to enrolled BGV vendors are followed up on promptly. Should manage inbound/outbound inquiry calls for Employment, Education, Reference, and Licensing Verifications with a third-party company. Maintains an accurate record keeping of all tests and results. Manage compliance procedures for drug and alcohol testing and enforce policy according to drug policies per job site, including random, follow-up, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and pre-employment. Manages drug and alcohol testing to ensure it is compliant with federal regulations and company policy. Manages external/internal relationships with high regard for confidentiality when communicating sensitive information on a need to know” basis. Assists with preparing and delivering compliance-related training and communications to employees. Acts as liaison with the drug testing laboratory and Medical Review Officer Engages with internal stakeholders to develop new tools and resources to meet organization/business needs. Possesses the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, reliable multi-tasking abilities, and organizational skills. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to foster a positive and fulfilling work environment. Assist with all other duties as assigned within the scope of employee relations. Responds to all external inquiries for drug and alcohol testing inquiries within 24 business hours of receipt. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attention to detail with a big-picture perspective. Must be hands-on and able to seamlessly flex between strategic and tactical activities. Abides by company program as well as Federal regulations to ensure regulatory compliance. Knowledge of Drug & Alcohol regulations Highly proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and advanced database management skills with a high level of proficiency in navigating Excel spreadsheets) Ability to understand the Company Culture and act as a change agent to evolve the organization through HR initiatives and systems. Experience working with unions/represented employees preferred. Shift - Candidate should be OK to work in both EST & PST shift Weekend work is required
