Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate US Accounting and Compliance to manage end-to-end accounting, tax, and payroll functions for U.S. entities. This role demands strong technical knowledge of U.S. corporate tax filings, foreign-owned entity reporting (Form 5472) , multi-state compliance (Form 335, RCT-101) , and payroll tax processing (Forms 941, 940, W-2, 1099-NEC) . The candidate will collaborate closely with U.S.-based CPA firms and clients , ensuring complete compliance and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Reporting Manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing. Prepare financial statements and trial balances under U.S. GAAP . Maintain and reconcile A/P, A/R, and general ledger accounts . Tax Compliance Prepare and review Federal Corporate Tax Returns (Form 1120) and Partnership Returns (Form 1065) . Ensure compliance for foreign-owned U.S. entities through Form 5472 reporting. Manage State filings , including: Form 335 (State-level compliance returns) RCT-101 (Pennsylvania Corporate Tax Return) Other state-specific franchise and annual report filings. Prepare Form 7004 for extensions and Form 1120-W for quarterly estimated tax calculations. Assist with sales tax filings and multi-state nexus compliance . Payroll Processing & Compliance Process payroll using Gusto , ADP , or QuickBooks Payroll . Compute gross-to-net pay , including federal, state, and local deductions. File all relevant payroll tax forms , such as: Form 941 – Quarterly Federal Tax Return Form 940 – Annual FUTA Return Form W-2/W-3 – Annual wage reporting Form 1099-NEC/MISC – Contractor payments State withholding and unemployment filings ( SUTA/SUI ) Reconcile payroll liabilities and ensure on-time remittances. Compliance & Coordination Maintain a compliance calendar for all Federal and State deadlines. Liaise with U.S. CPAs and tax agents for reviews, filings, and audits. Handle client correspondence related to IRS or State tax notices . Ensure complete data confidentiality and secure record management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. 3–6 years of hands-on experience in U.S. accounting, tax, and payroll. Strong knowledge of: Forms 1120, 1065, 5472, 7004, 941, 940, W-2, 1099, 335, RCT-101 U.S. GAAP and Federal/State tax regulations . Proficiency in QuickBooks , Xero , Sage , or Intuit ProConnect . Excellent English communication and coordination skills. High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. Experience in working with U.S. CPA firms preferred.
