Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer - Design (Casting, Plumbing, sheetmetal domain experience using Creo skills) We are actively seeking two experienced Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineers - Design with 2 to 6 years of experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in Creo for designing diverse engine components. This multifaceted role involves working extensively on casting, plumbing, and sheet metal parts within engine assemblies. Your responsibilities will include creating complex 3D models, detailed assemblies, and associated 2D drawings using Creo. A strong knowledge of the product lifecycle is essential, as you will be involved from concept generation through to production support. You must possess a solid understanding of manufacturing processes related to casting (e.g., sand casting, die casting), sheet metal fabrication (e.g., bending, forming, welding), and plumbing systems (e.g., tube bending, hose routing). Furthermore, expertise in Design for Assembly (DFA) is crucial, ensuring that components are designed for ease of assembly, reducing manufacturing time and costs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including powertrain engineers, manufacturing specialists, and quality control, to ensure designs meet performance , manufacturing capabilities, and cost targets. Your ability to troubleshoot design issues and propose effective solutions will be highly valued in this dynamic environment.

Role & responsibilities Design and development of Gravity Die Casting Tools suitable for Aluminium alloy grades. Design and development of Pressure Die Casting Tools suitable for Aluminium alloy grades. Design and development of Plastic Injection moulding Tools. Design and Development of Pressing, Cutting, Punching, Cropping, Trimming, Bending, Holding tools. Design and Development of Jigs and Fixtures. Maintain the Tools and History records. Carry out Preventive Maintenance of Tools and maintain records. Should be able to do CNC, VMC programming. Mould Flow Analysis, FMEA. DFMEA, PPAP, CTQ, Etc Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, Leadership skills, Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Proven experience in Tooling, Development and Documentations. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Tool design, Analysis, Machining, Programming and Tool Maintenance. Technical Skills: Proficient in Design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar). Mould Flow Analysis, FMEA, DFMEA, PPAP, etc.. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, Strong communication and teamwork skills and Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
